First of all, language is very important tool for communication . I have been traveling a lot and I learned that to survive in a foreign country, I needed to learn at least the basic (like thank you, your welcome, how much? and so on).
I would like to improve my knowledge in Japanese by focusing more on practical conversation. But due to my tight schedule I can only study during weekends.
I have no specific qualification for a teacher but a native speaker is more preferable.

I am opting to learn the language as I intend to relocate there with my partner in the upcoming future (I lived there before). I am a complete beginner and would ideally like to learn conversationa l Japanese to begin with as when I was in Tokyo in July, I had forgotten all that I knew before!!
A few hours a week, though this is negotiable (I work full time,Mon-Fri) . I get very embarrassed speaking in a language other than my own (it always sounds wrong) so a teacher with patience, sense of humour and one to tell me to get over it would be great!
