I and my friend would like to take lessons together. We are beginners and would like to learn for when we go travelling in the region. We would like to learn basic phrases and be introduced to grammar and reading. We can dedicate two hours per week to language lessons.

I am interested in learning languages because I plan on traveling and living abroad after I finish school. I have studied Arabic in college for a semester and traveled to Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. I lived in Tanzania for three months and can speak on an intermediate level. My Arabic is probably high beginner, I can read and write, but definitely need improvement speaking and listening.
I am also interested in learning French and Spanish, because they are very useful languages. Particularly French because I am planning to travel and work in Africa. I am on the beginner level for both of these languages.
I do not have a need to be extremely fluent in any of these languages, just want to be very competent. However I am very motivated to learn and will always be prepared and eager for new information. During class time I would like to have teachers who conduct the lessons not in english, and a lot of conversation in the language being learned as this is how I learn best.
