Hello, I have been learning Mandarin part-time while living in China for 8 months. I am back in Auckland for one month from mid July to mid August. I'm hoping to study further while I am at home, perhaps in an intensive learning environment for a few hours a day. I particularly want to improve my fluency when speaking, and ability to create varied sentences. My vocabulary is growing, but, of course always needs more! I am someone who learns best in a hands on environment, wanting a mixture of real life conversation, and some text book study.

I would like to learn Mandarin for daily conversation. I am of Chinese origin, and grew up speaking Cantonese, although I have very limited reading and writing abilities. I would like a teacher with a flexible schedule and ability to meet in downtown Boston; weekends are best although I travel frequently on weekends.
