I am a beginner chinese mandarin student. By October 2007 i will have finished level 2 of the shanghai institute course. In October/Novem ber 2007 I will be in Singapore for two weeks. I want to take private lessons (one to one) there - quite intensive, a few hours every day in order to improve what I will have learnt at the shanghai institute by then.

To mandarin instructors:
I am planning to learn to speak mandarin in the near future.
I can read and write traditional Chinese; however, I barely can speak mandarin.
My main goal is to learn to speak basic to conversationa l mandarin. In addition, I like to focus on learning to pronounce a word from a standard Chinese dictionary.
One of the reasons of wanting to learn mandarin is for career advancement.
I work at least 5 days a week, and I would like to spend about 2 hours every weekend on learning mandarin.

I am looking for a Mandarin tutor for my girl, aged 7. She is studying in Singapore and will be back to Jakarta this coming June for her term-break.
Tutor must know English and be willing to conduct 2-hour lessons at our place in Cideng, in the mornings, Monday to Friday.
Start date: 1 June 2009
Last lesson: 24 June 2009
Tutor has to teach student the Singapore Primary 1 Mandarin syllabus. Materials will be provided.
