Description
I received some excellent training in Korean at the Defense Language Institute courtesy of the Air Force. Unfortunately , I have not had the opportunity to study with an instructor since that time and my own self-study efforts have been ineffective. At one time my proficiency would probably have been considered high intermediate, but it has since slipped a good deal. I would like to refresh what I learned and improve my Korean language skills as I hope to spend some time in Korea in the future. I have always been particularly weak in speaking and listening though my reading was fairly strong. I am currently in the process of learning a new job and enrolling for college classes so I do not have a great deal of free time, but this is a skill I do not want to lose entirely and I could devote a few hours a week to language study.

I want to move to Korean in 3 years and open a business. I have been married to a Korean for 29 years, so I have a little knowledge of the language. I am able to read and write but I have trouble putting sentences together, and expressing thoughts. I currently spend from 2 -3 hours a day studying. My biggest obstacle I feel is pronunciation and grammar. My goal is to be 80% or more fluent within 3 years.

Description
I'm learning Russian because of a personal interest that I've always had for the Russian language and to complete my foreign language credits for high school. So far, I have taken three semesters of a russian class, but because it has been over a year since I have taken any classes I have lost a lot of my skills. I have been doing some Rosetta Stone to refresh my memory, so I'm still possibly at an intermediate level. I'm good at reading and writing, but the grammar is very confusing and I've forgotten a lot of it. I'm also very good at learning new vocabulary and pronunciation . I will dedicate as much time to my language lessons as it takes to become efficient in the language again. I'm looking for a teacher who can sit down with me and help me move forward in my unique circumstance. So I need a teacher who can individualize the lessons based on what I remember, what I've forgotten, and what I've never learned.

Description
Hello. My name is Zion. I lived in Eritrea, Africa for 5 years, age 4 to 9, and started school at an Italian kindergarten. After kindergarten, I started elementary school at an Italian elementary school. I went there until the middle of 4th grade, and then moved back to California. I enjoyed learning and knowing how to speak Italian fluently, but due to lack of practice, I soon forgot how to say complete sentences. I would love to re-learn Italian because i admire the language and it actually helped me learn Spanish. I believe that if I re-learn the language, it will help me with careers in the future and my life over-all. I won't be starting completely over, because I think that if I just jog my memory a little, I will start remembering more and more. My proficiency level would be intermediate to some-what advanced, as I am not a beginner. The areas I need improvement in are just re-learning the language in general, but mostly conversation. As for how much time I would like to dedicate to the lessons, I would be willing to go for anything with an hour as a minimum, and twice a week as a minimum, but I wouldn't mind hearing what your schedules are like. The qualities I was definitely interested in having Barbara Caporicci as my teacher. I am looking for someone that has Italian as their first of native language. Th ank you very much, and please contact me.
