German was infact my first language as i was born there, biut moving to Australia when i was three & doing all my schooling in Australia, i have lost the majority of my first language. I'd say i am probably at a beginners to intermediate level. I am wanting to learn German, as i plan to travel there & visit relatives. I was also considering pursuing a career using my German language, such as, interpretatio n, translation, etc.
I am looking for a teacher who can provide me one to two hours privately a week at a cost of $30 max an hour in between the hours of 6-10 pm any week day, as i work from 9am to 5pm week days.
I look forward to hearing from you, as i am very determined & excited to regain my the language part of my heritage.

I am married to a Fijian and have a very basic vocabulary in Fijian. We both run businesses and my wife does not have the time to teach me anymore than I can pick up from her conversations with other Fijians. We have built a house on Kadavu Island and intend spending more time there. While I appreciate Kadavu has its own dialects, to at least be able to converse in Bauan would be a start. My biggest problem lies in the fact that due to work commitments, I am unable to be online at any regular time. I am very keen to learn the languauge and I have sruggled to find any other resources apart from the 'Lonely Planet' guide.
