In general i like learning languages fast, as this is the best way i remember them as i experienced. Therefore i need someone who explains well but is serious about really teaching me to understand and to speak the language> If possible 2 times a week.

I am interested in learning Mandarin Chinese. I currently practice Chinese martial arts and feel that an understanding of the language will help me interpret texts and teachings currently only available in Mandarin. I have never studied Mandarin but I have picked up a couple of words by listening to my martial arts coach talk.
I think the best areas for me to focus on to begin with would be correct tone pronounciatio n and basic sentences and grammar.
O ne lesson per week would be suitable for now, possibly more if I can afford it.
