Hej!
I have just returned from a 2-week trip to Ostervra, Denmark. It was short trip and I spent the majority of the time in a small town, but I completely fell in love with the country.
Living and working in DC, I'm more of a city girl, so I prefer the hustle and bustle of Copenhagen. While I will surely return in the next few months, I want to spend next summer (July 2007) in Copenhagen. If I can secure work, I will stay. If not, I will return to the US, work a while and then return to Copenhagen to try again.
As such, I figure the first step is to develop a command of the language.
I have no experience with Danish. I have experience with Spanish and can engage in basic communication in Spanish.
I am 35, I work at Georgetown University, hold a BA and an MA.

I am interested in learning to speak Danish because I'll be moving to Denmark early 2007. I'm at a basic beginner level though have been trying to learn Danish with the Rosetta Stone language program. I'm willing to dedicate the amount of time needed since I'd like to be somewhat fluent in a short amount of time and have no opportunities for practical experience in Miami.

Hi,
I am a physiotherapi st and would like to learn the Danish language as my partner is from Denmark. I would like to be able to speak to both he and his family in Danish. I have trialed cassettes and CD's of 'Learn Danish in 1 month' without success. I feel I would learn the language more effectively by one on one tutoring in order to understand the grammar and hopefully be able to speak and write Danish fluently! I was thinking of starting with 2-3 lessons per week.

Beginner , havnt attended any danish program before.I do learn some danish by myslef and from friends, but .. not enough. Therefore, I am looking for teachers who can provide organized teaching program and teach me step by step. Last but not least, as you see..
