I have travelled to France a couple of times and have picked up the most basic words, so I am a total beginner. I love France and the culture and I'm very keen to be able to communicate. I am travelling to Paris and Cannes in 4 weeks time. Unfortunately I have not given myself much time to learn...lack of organisation I guess. Thats another story:) I live in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney and am interested in intensive private tutoring before I leave...maybe 2 or 3 times a week depending on the rates.
I see myself as a reasonably intelligent person and am quite a quick learner, however I would like the teacher to be patient and understanding , as I find learning a new language very confronting.

Beginner - Internediate in Japanese ( I am able to get around as a toursit with small hassles)
Would like to learn conversation skills because I have a few Japanese friends that I am in regular contact with.
I would like to be able to study for 1hr a day - possibly 2 days per week.
