I am interested in learning a bit of
Portugues e, as I will be travelling in
Portugal during June 2005. At present I do not know any Portuguese. My native language is English, I studied Latin and
Russian during secondary school and Russian at university. I can also understand a little Spanish, Italian, and German from travel and listening to opera and can speak rudimentary Hebrew. I am a university lecturer and a quick learner, but I do not have a really good ear for pronunciation and learn better if I can read as well as listen, at least at first. I am prepared to spend one hour per week in lessons between now and June, possibly a bit more during the first weeks of June, and also as much time as is needed to review and prepare lessons. I do not have any fixed ideas about what setting would best or what qualities I would like in a teacher.

Looking for a one on one teacher to teach me Vietnamese. My partner in Vietnamese but is very hard to learn from.
I have at least a few hours a week I can dedicate. I can understand a little but I really want to be well rounded in speaking and understanding before we visit Vietnam in December 2005.

I am moving to Korea to teach English, but I would like to learn Korean to get by, and also to meet locals. I have a very basic knowledge of Korean, and would like to develop my conversation and reading skills.

I am a beginner, I speak fluent French and English, but I want to learn Russian. My family is Russian and that is why I want to learn. I am also interested in the culture of Russia. I need to dedicate at least 50 hours to learning Russian through lessons over the next two years. I have never learnt Russian.
