I'm a beginner and am planning to got to Korea for a year and I am wanting to learn the language as best I can before I go. The areas I want to improve are all areas of the language.
I am willing to dedicate 3 hours a week to my language lessons and if possible over the next 10 months.

Hello,
My name is Frances Cheverton and I am interested in learning Danish. I recently spent three weeks in Denmark and fell in love with the culture, people and the language.
I have never learnt Danish before and I would be starting as a complete beginner. I have also wanted to learn another language and Danish is so different. I am looking for a challenge and I think this language will offer it.
I am currently study Social Work at the university of Queensland on a full time basis, but I have days off uni this semester that I would like to utilise. I am available twice a week for lessons and am happy to meet in person either at my home or in the city, maybe even at university?
I am looking for a teacher who is fun and can make the language interesting and enjoyable to learn. I am willing to give anything a try so, I am looking forward to seeing what you can offer me.

I am interested in learning a bit of
Portugues e, as I will be travelling in
Portugal during June 2005. At present I do not know any Portuguese. My native language is English, I studied Latin and
Russian during secondary school and Russian at university. I can also understand a little Spanish, Italian, and German from travel and listening to opera and can speak rudimentary Hebrew. I am a university lecturer and a quick learner, but I do not have a really good ear for pronunciation and learn better if I can read as well as listen, at least at first. I am prepared to spend one hour per week in lessons between now and June, possibly a bit more during the first weeks of June, and also as much time as is needed to review and prepare lessons. I do not have any fixed ideas about what setting would best or what qualities I would like in a teacher.

Looking for a one on one teacher to teach me Vietnamese. My partner in Vietnamese but is very hard to learn from.
I have at least a few hours a week I can dedicate. I can understand a little but I really want to be well rounded in speaking and understanding before we visit Vietnam in December 2005.
