I have lived in South Korea for 2 years where I was an ESL English teacher. I would say that my Korean proficiency is at an advanced beginner level, with my weakness in speaking and my strength in listening, reading and writing.
I am looking for a full or part-time tutor in the San Diego area or near Winter Haven, Florida. I am thinking of moving to San Diego in the near future after I finish some business in New York City.

I am a korean-americ an girl who would very much like to speak korean. I know very little of the language and would need to start from the beginning. I am interested in visiting korea next summer and would like to learn the language before I visit. I would like to have private lessons at least once every week. Hello, I am a Korean adoptee who has not had the opportunity to become accustomed to my own native culture and experience. My willingness is great, my slate is pure white, ready to learn and understand. I have recently pursued this desire to learn my language, because I want to embrace my fear of unknown, my shame in having taken so long to learn my language, and my pride to know who I am. Grammar, conversation, writing, I want to learn all of it. Realistically , I am a full-time student, but summertime is a good time to learn as well! I am looking for genuine, authentic material to learn and understand. I hope that my teacher would be knowledgeable and patient.
