I'm learning so many languages not only for help in career advancement or choices but also for the sheer pleasure of it. I simply love asian languages and want as many under my belt as possible. I've been at japanese a while longer than the others and as a result am better at it than the rest of them. I'm not sure where i need improvement. I want to dedicate as much time as possible to these lessons. And as for what qualities I'm looking for in a teacher, i suppose just someone easy to get along with who wont let me slack off :).

I am very much interested in learning Chinese (Mandarin) because I find it to be a very beautiful language.
Although I've tried to pick up some basic phrases in chinese, I am very much a beginner but would like to put forth the effort to overcome that.
I am looking to dedicate at least 2 to 3 hours a week to this language because anymore than that I feel would be counterproduc tive.

I am interested in learning arabic to allow for travel abroad and potential career advancement and opportunities in the future.
I am currently a complete beginner, I have only just begun to look at the alphabet. I would like to be able to learn to read, write, and speak arabic fluently, which is something I know will take a lot of work.
I am a hardworker and willing to dedicate a substantial amount of time to learning Arabic. I would like to spend 3-4 hours on the weekend in language lessons. I would be able to spend 1-2 hours on material during the week as well, potentially more as my schedule allows.
I am looking for a teacher who is a native speaker who will be able to help me learn arabic quickly and properly and has some experience in teaching arabic.
