I just learnt a little Thai and know quite a bit of Mandarin. It was interesting to know that some words are the same such as the word for three. I wish to learn to speak more Thai and have a book entitled 'Thai for Beginners' by Benjawan Poomsan Becker. I love the conutry and also am now Buddhist and follow all the rituals and culture of Thailand. I love the north of Thailand and plan to live and work there after 2009. I wish to find a teacher in the Wolverhampton area of the Midlands in UK please

beginner because I spend quite a lot of time in Thailand and
I woulld hope to communicate on a general level
with thai people .I want to aquire a working knowledge of thai
for everyday living. How much time I spend learning is flexible and open.
The qualities I would be looking for in a teacher are to be able recognize the problems for an english speaking person to
understand the fundamental differences and have the ability to convey as clearly as possible how to think in thai.
