I am interested in learning Pashto language because I will be going to southern Afghanistan in the next six months. I would like to have at least a little conversationa l understanding of the language by then. My level is beginner, although I have looked at a couple of self study course and have been confused by discrepancies in some words and pronunciation s. I would really like a teacher who has knowledge of the different dialects of the Afghanistan regions. I work full time and will only be able to take this on part time.

I'm interested in learning Pashto because of my ancestral background that goes back to Afghanistan. I've always been interested in the culture, people, and the language and i would like to hopefully help me use it one day in the field of International Relations. I'm a beginner but I've learned to say a few phrases here and there with my pathan friends. I'm willing to dedicate an hour and a half, twice a week for the class.
