I would like to practice speaking in preparation for a trip to Italy. I have been studying Italian on and off for 6+ years, but do not use it between trips to Italy every 2-3 years. I am at an intermediate level. I would like to have private tutoring 1-2 hours per week and focus on oral production and communication related to travelling.

My husband and I will be spending two months in Lucca next spring. I would like to feel comfortable conversing with the local people to enhance our experience. I have been working with some language apps and enjoy them but, I do need help with the finer points of the language, i.e., plurals, possessives, etc. Plus, it would be good to be able to speak with someone so I could get the accents correctly. I would like to start with a weekly one on one session. I am looking for someone who is patient. It is true that it is hard to teach an old dog a new trick. Monday and Wednesday mornings are best for me.
