I want to continue to learn Polish because it's something I started months ago to communicate better with a friend, and I still want to reach that point of talking to them, conversationa lly, in their native language.
I would be a beginner - been diligently working through Rosetta Stone; however, I recognize the strong need for personal interaction in order to learn a language better.
I' d love to have a person that the two of us can go around Chicago, chill out, and practice practice practice. I appreciate patience in a teacher.
I work a regular 9-5 (sometimes 7-6) job; if I know that there's a night or two a week, or an afternoon as well on the weekend that I've got Polish class, it's on the calendar, and scheduled. At least once a week. I want to make consistent progress.

I bought the 501 Italian Verbs book, because I already speak fluent Spanish at an extremely high level and since Italian and Spanis are so similar I decide I would teach myself, but I have no one to practice with or to judge my skill level. I would prefer to have a native teacher, who could help me learn some basic grammar, idiomatic dialect and allow me to speak Italian, at level comparable with my fluent Spanish. I would like to take maybe 2 1-3 hour lessons per month, at a price around $20-35, with some assigned materials so I can progress in a principally self-guided manner. At this point I would put myself in the novice level,with most of my skills coming from my knowledge of Spanish, and so I am not a complete beginner

I've always been interested in becoming fluent in Spanish. I have taken several classes in the language and actually have graduated with a degree in Spanish Education, however, in order to teach I need a rating of Intermediate High/Advanace d Low on the ACTFL Test. When I took the test I received a rating of Intermedite Mid.
I do work at least 40 hours a week, however, I am willing to dedicate as much time as I can in order to become fluent.
