I am interested in improving my French because I like the language and French culture, and French is useful to know in the government setting. I need particular improvement in conversation, listening comprehension , building up my vocabulary.
I can dedicate about 1-2 hours per week on language lessons.
I want a teacher that teaches with structure, is well prepared and organized, and makes learning fun and interactive. I hope I can receive lots of handouts to study on my own time as well.

I am practically a beginner with the French language, because I took extended French classes in junior high school and that was about 5 years ago so I rememeber nothing. I regret not continuing on with the French classes, because I wish I knew the language fluently. I want to have the option of knowing how to speak the language for career purposes and just for my own, I would love to carry on conversations with confidence and to be able to travel and speak not only English. I am willing to dedicate as much time as it will possibly take me to learn the language fluently. I'm looking for a teacher who is patient and motivated to making me an example of their amazing teaching skills!

I am an absolute beginner with the French language.
I am traveling in the fall (2006)to France and wish to learn the basics of the language before I leave. If I had more time, I would learn as much as possible and hope someday to be fairly fluid.
I would naturally at first, want to focus on learning the best way to comunicate when traveling.
I would be willing to dedicate whatever time the teacher thought was appropriate in order to learn what I need before my trip to France, (cost willing.)
I just need someone to be pacient with me, and creative in their teaching, I'm not a good text-book learner, I need interactive teaching.
I want to have fun with it. :)
