I am learning this foreign language mostly because I am from Russia. I have hosted 2 foreign exchange students, and I am just in awe of the language and would love to be fluent so i can comminucate with my best friends in russian. My proficiency level is beginner. The areas i feel i need improvement are all areas. I would like to dedicate as much time during the summer as I can. I am an investment professional and have travelled extensively throughout Asia. I have visited Seoul and would like to work there someday in the financial industry. My proficiency level is that of a beginner but I am motivated to learn Korean and have the discipline to make substantial progress in a short time. I have taught myself the Korean alphabet. I can dedicate 5-7 hours a week studying but will do more if that is what it takes to learn the language well enough to conduct business. I would like a teacher that has a well thought out plan for teaching me and can also instruct me on cultural issues of importance in Korea that will assist me when I travel and live there.
