I know very little swahili, i have visited Kenya twice in the last year. I plan to visit again from August to November and during that time i wish to be taught Swahili in Nairobi. I am wishing to take 4 hour lesson 5 days a week from mid-August to early November. I want to be as fluent as possible in those 2 and a half months.

My husband and I are beginning to learn Swahili. We plan to live and work full time in Tanzania and so require a high level of ability. We would like to dedicate 3-6 months to intensive Swahili language learning with perhaps some form of tutoring to follow. Culture learning would be helpful as well. We are flexible to the city we live in intially but will eventually locate in Morogoro.

Absolute Beginner but quick at learning languages. Will be working on a voluntary project in Uganda in the summer and I would like to be able to communicate with as wide a varity of people as possible. Hopefully the lessons would help me with basic communication , to get to know people socially and to navigate my way around the country.

I would like to continue learning Kiswahili to help me further my career as a Foreign Area Officer and to just become more proficient in a language I truly enjoy. I believe I am ready for intermediate level learning--ide ally I'd like to become better at daily conversation in addition to reading/discu ssing newspaper articles. I would like to study for 2 weeks in Tanzania this summer (4-20 Jun), and it is possible I will return in the summer of 2006 for 1-2 months of additional training.
