I would like to have regular lessons in punjabi to improve my conversationa l skills and my grammar.
i would like to dedicate at least two months in my lessons as it is for career advancement.
I want a female teacher who can speak in english as well as punjabi and who carries out language lessons in the way that they are normally carried out. This is by having conversations , carrying out grammar exercises and having homework to study.

I am Punjabi by culture but have never been able to speak the language but have always wished I could. I can read at a first grade level and am quickly loosing that ability as well. I am particularly interested in learning to speak/underst and more than anything else. I can meet once (maybe twice) a week for an hour or two. The areas I need most teaching in are grammar and conversation.

My name is Dorota. I am a beginner in Punjabi. I want to learn how to speak the language, mainly conversation, then i will get to the grammar and so on. I am at a beginner level of Punjabi. I have taken some classes at UBC, but they have ended. I am not looking to furter learn the language. My main area is the conversation skills to communicate easy. I am will to dedicate as much of my time as I am able to. I do work full time and will be taking evening class in the fall of 2006. I would like to learn Punjabi for a couple of reasons one being the career I am studing is good to know more than one language, another would be I live in B.C. and it is a very muilt-cultura l province. These are some of the reasons I would like to study Punjabi.
