I am a beginner who would like to learn for fun and possible career advancement later in life. I would like to learn mainly a conversationa l understanding of the language. I would like to dedicate between one and three hours a week for lessons with additional time set aside for practice. I recently started to gain an interest in Japanese because I want to excell in another language. I believe this could be helpful in the future (also, I really want to visit Japan). I'm a uni student therefore I will probably only want to spend 1 or 2 days a week learning. I'd like to have a native Japanese person as a tutor, however that's not a necessity. I just want to have a good friendship with my tutor while learning the language =]
