I currently read and write French at an advanced level, but I become flustered when I need to speak to people I don't know. Also, my ability to conjugate when speaking goes out the window. I would simply like to be more proficient speaking French.
I learned spanish once in highschool, and again in university. I suppose I am a beginner or an advanced beginner. Learning words and conjugations is never the problem - speaking is where I become flustered. I would like to study in South America two years from now and would like some help becoming proficient.

Hello there,
I am looking for a french tutor for myself and possibly my husband. I have two daughters who will be starting in a french emersion school in september 2006 and I would like to brush up on my french conversation skills so I can help them with homework etc.
I have had 7 years of higher level secondary school french (in Ireland) but have not had the opportunity to speak it in 20 years. I would have been almost fluent at that time.
If I thought I could get good classes for my daughters I would also get lessons for them now and in the summer.
I would dedicate two evenings per week to classes and maybe at the weekends for my daughters.
Tutor must be fluent in both English and French. I would begin lessons asap if I could find a good tutor.
