I am moving to Vicenza, Italy next January with my fiance (he'll be my husband by then) and would like to be able to communicate effectively in Italian. I don't speak any Italian right now, but I speak French and some Spanish (and some Arabic). On my last visit to Italy, I could understand when people spoke to me, but I couldn't say anything back to them. I generally learn languages quickly and relatively easily.
I am willing to take lessons as often as the teacher is willing to give them, beginning in late May at the earliest, through to early December.

I want to learn a foreign language because I want to be able to communicate in a new language wherever needed. I also want to gain knowledge of a different culture in order to be open-minded. Lastly I want to learn French because I want to learn a language at my age so I can have an advantage at careers when I grow up. I am currently studying french at middle school and I want to continue studying when I leave middle school, which is June 9th, 2010. I have been studying french and I believe I am an intermediate level. I need particular improvement in grammar and being able to pronnounce words better. I want to dedicate about 2 hours daily about 3 or 4 days weekly. In my teacher, I want affordable prices such as $40 dollars monthly and if not maybe negotiable. Also I want a teacher that assigns homework that allows me to practice it. I don't mind the number of students in a teaching session.
