My proficiency level is borderline between beginner and intermediate. I want to learn more about the Korean language since I am Korean-Americ an but I also want to gain more confidence in my parents' native language. I visit Korea every 2 years and everytime, I find it more difficult to communicate with my fellow family members and peers. I want to dedicate as much time as I need to to achieve my goal to regain my knowledge of the Korean Language. I am looking for a tutor/teacher who is willing to put forth the same effort as I am and show the patience to help me achieve my goals.

I spoke hangul fluently as a young child, as well as english, and was able to translate for my parents. I no longer speak it, though I can understand it to a degree. I've just come back from spending a little less than 3 months in Seoul, so I can understand a little more. I can read it though I don't know all the rules by heart. I am hoping to learn for personal advancement and if it 'clicks' again then possibly for a career openings. I would like to have a larger vocabualary, and be well rounded in the language. I can dedicate a decent amount of time in lessons concidering this is a goal of mine. I would hope that my teacher has the capability of teaching me to my strengths, visually, repetition, writing, and if not then being patient and yet demanding.
