I am interested in learning Chinese (Mandarin). I have no experience of the language at present apart from some familiarity gained from my Martial Arts training.
I am interested in learning Chinese (Mandarin) for a number of reasons. My first reason is that I have wanted to learn another language for some time and I believe that Chinese (Mandarin), would have the added bonus of benefiting my Taji training. Secondly I am looking to do something different career wise in the future, and with the strong growth in the Chinese economy I believe this may present some career\busine ss opportunities in the future for me.
Initia lly I would like to start with one hour’s private tuition a week but may look to increase this as my proficiency increases.
I am interested mainly in the conversation area of the language but would also like to learn some grammar.

I have had some lessons in Chinese since be beginning of October and am really enjoying learning the language however the lessons stop mid-December so I am looking for a personal tutor to help me continue my learning.
The frequency of lessons would depend on the price, but I would probably be looking at having one hour session every two weeks.
I am looking for a teacher who will focus on all aspects of the language including reading, writing, speaking and listening and who also includes anything about chinese culture when appropriate!

I am a beginner in Chinese, Mandarin. I have studied for a semester at university and have some basic conversationa l skills.
I want to learn another language or two for career opportunities in the future and travel purposes as well.
I feel like I need to work on my tones, grammar and fluency the most.
I would like to do at least 5 hours a week of practical in order to become really proficient in the language.
I am looking for a teacher who will be able to push me to my limits and help identify my weaknesses and show me how to improve on them. A teacher who will teach me in the most practical way possible so I can apply what I learn in real life situations.
