I am looking to learn Mandarin to help me in my sales career. I have never spoke a word of Mandarin before. I am as much a beginner as I can be. I really need to focus on speaking and conversing with proper grammer for now. I may look to read and write once I get a good handle on speaking the language. I can dedicate at least 1 day a week for now but I would like to get to 2 days if I could in the next few months. I want an teacher with a high proficiency in Mandarin. I have been studying mandarin for two years. I have studied in China twice, at Canadian Universities, and with private tutors. I am looking to work with someone 2-3 times per week during the day to work on grammar, conversation, reading, writing etc. I would dedicate 2 hours on top of class time to studying
I look for someone who has experience teaching, can structure my lessons, and would be willing to take me around toronto and show me things speaking chinese (every day stuff) so I can get a better understanding of the language (Balance between text book and real life) Starting in January- August
