I want to learn japanese and chinese for fun. I would like to learn about culture aswell. I really hope that i can visit Japan, China or Taipei sometime in the future. I only know a couple of words in Mandarin. I have purchased a couple of self teach books for japanese so i am a beginner. I am a better learner one on one or in a small group. I'm a visual learner. I can dedicate about two days a week, one hour each day. I am looking for a teacher that can use surroundings, games and overall someone who is patient.

I am learning Chinese for career advancement. My goal is to become fluent in business terms and business in general in China. I need to refresh my Chinese since I will be interacting with business people in China in 2 months!
I minored in Mandarin in college. I would say my level is intermediate.
I particularly need improvement in conversation (tones) and vocabulary.
Ideally, I would like to take 5h/week of lessons.

I learned Mandarin while living in Taiwan. Since then, I've felt very strongly that I want to master as many East Asian languages as I can (Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Etc.) I would rate my Mandarin ability fairly highly--maybe 7.5 or 8 out of 10. My accent and tones are almost always spot on (I've been mistaken for a Chinese person over the phone and sometimes in person when I'm not seen right away). By biggest focus is improving my understanding of the grammar and expanding my vocabulary. I have virtually no experience with Cantonese or Korean and am currently studying Japanese in school.
As I am a full-time college student, I am somewhat limited in terms of time and money, but somewhere around one or two hours a week would be fantastic. I feel there's time for a substantial amount of material to be learned, but also plenty of time to review it all. I would like personalized lessons, but also structure which allows me to ask questions on the one hand, and learn from useful, prepared material on the other.
