I have been learning chinese for over a year, but i don't feel it has improved much. I want to learn chinese because i want to study in a universtiy in China and plan to take the HSK in two years. I need help in conversation and grammer. Sometimes i can understand what people are saying to me, but i don't know how to reply to them. I would like to take lesson about two times a week and i am looking for someone who can help me reach these requirments.

I have been learning Chinese for a number of years but have never had conversation practice as have been in UK until recently.
It has been difficult to keep up the momentum in the UK and I have had long gaps in lessons, and forgotten lots of the language.
I am looking for a private tutor to build my confidence up and increase my ability to converse in Chinese.

Dear Prospective Teacher,
My husband is Chinese and speaks Mandarin very well however he is unable to teach myself and my daughter due to his long work hours. My daughter and I have had exposure to Mandarin through casual interactions with my husband and his family however we are eager to learn in a more structured, consistent setting. Thus, we are interested in classes for both adults and preschoolers.

Level - Beginner. Wish to learn Mandarin to enable a long stay within the country in the next few years. Having conversationi al skills in the native language is tremendously important to me. One or two hours a week minimum learning basic skills would satisfy myself however more time would suit if available. I would ideally be looking for a relaxed teacher who natively speaks the language and creates a fun environment to learn in.
