I have no prior experience in Mandarin but I do have some experience in learning a couple of other languages. I want to learn Mandarin because I sincerely admire the Chinese language and culture and I desire to learn more about it. Ideally I want to become as fluent as possible and to learn how to read and write in Mandarin. I am willing to devote as much time as is needed to reach my goal. I am looking for a teacher who has a large amount of experience with the language and culture.
