I am on an exchange year in Japan right now, but actually I come from Austria.
Bac k home I studied French for 3 years already in school.
But since I am in Japan I didn`t use it at all so I forgot most of it.
When I go home in july I want to continue being part of the class I used to be so I need to start studding French again to not fail in school when I go back.
I still understand a bit when I read it but when I want to talk I can`t remember any vocabulary and I start forgetting a bit of the grammar...
S ill I know most of the rules though...
So I guess my level is a bit higher than basic... but not much...
I think the best thing is to dive into the language completely from the start to get back to it.
I really need improvement in conversation, vocabulary (because I forgot everything) and these things... Basically I have to get back into it.
I think I will start with taking 1 hour per week and if the lessons help a lot I will change it to 2 hours per week.
I want the teacher to be able to answer questions. (for example how to say something)
I think if the teacher could give exercise and/or grammar sheets (so that I can also study on my own) that would be the best thing.
Also I`m expecting a bit homework...
Also some listening and talking exercises would be great..
I realy want to get back a good enough level in French til I go home in july! (I am also ok in taking lessons in english if my teacher can`t or doesn`t want to teach me in german)
I want to start as soon as possible!
