I was staioned in Thailand for nine months and just recently returned back to the States. During my time there, I attended a basic elementary Thai language student/teach er course for six month and enjoyed it. I found the Thai language extremly fascinating and I don't want to loose what I learned. I want to continue and learn more of the language.

Hello,
My name is Nihal Rao and I trying to learn MSA and Egyptian dialect Arabic. Currently, I am in the process of applying to the University of Pennsylvania to specialize in modern middle east studes. I have no background in the language, so I am a beginner in the purest sense of the word.
With lessons, I hope to eventually become fluent in Arabic. I wish to have the ability to read, write, and hold intellectual conversations with middle easterners. I am currently a full time student, so, given the flexibility, I can probably dedicate 3 hours of class time and 6 hours of personal preparation every week.
A teacher that is most suited for me is one that can fluently speak Egyptian-styl e Arabic, is versed in MSA, has extensive teaching experience, and has success stories of helping individuals accomplish fluency. I am a dedicated learner, so I hope to be linked with an instructor that is not afraid to challenge me.
