I am interested in learning Greek for personal enjoyment. I am a beginner but I have done a small amount of self-study of ancient Greek. I would like to meet for an hour or two (once a week). I am a professional actor and playwright. I want to learn Greek that I can use for a live public performance of verses in The Gospel of John.
I have no knowledge of the Greek language. I am a beginner.
In my study I only want to learn the correct prounciation of words written in English in the Holy Bible. I do not want to write in Greek.
I think 3-4 hours of study will be all I require. I'm not sure.
A tutor who understands that I am a theatre stage actor and
my use of a foreign language is for performance. I may require a audio recording of a reading to use as in my study.
