Soy anglo de Texas de 59 años y he estudiado español desde niño, asi que ya tengo nivel un poco avanzado. Pero nunca tengo chance de hablar el idioma. I am a beginner. Very beginner. I am learning japanese with the intent of moving there within the next 5-6 years.
I need to make sense of the grammar aspects. All the information i read in books, just gets muddled in my mind.
I would love to study every single day, as much as possible, though unfortunately , my budget won't allow for that :( So i will spend as much time, as is financially possible, devoted to my studies. I was an honor roll student all through my early years. I am an excellent student, i only need a teacher who offers a bit of structure, and who is willing to answer all my questions :) I would like to maybe include a bit of cultural information as well, though it is not necessary. I believe understanding the language will help me understand the culture, and vice versa.

I want to learn this language because I want to do an exchange program in the near future and I would like to know how to communicate with others. I am a beginner to the Japanese language. I need inprovement in all areas of speech, and I will dedicate as much time as posible to learn this language. Hello,
I am interested in learning Japanese in Austin, TX. I have no experience with the language so I am definately a beginner. I do not need it for a degree, I just want to learn for my own personal growth. I would like to visit Tokyo one day, and it would be nice if I could speak the language. Since I work during the day, I need evening classes. I have no preferance on what days during the week the lessons are taught.I am looking for a teacher that is knowledgeable in the subject matter.
