I have a need to quickly learn Russian for business. I frequently travel to Russia and would like to improve in all areas, but specifically to concentrate on travel and business terminology. Looking for a professional instructor available to start right away and to accommodate my busy schedule. My level: beginner/inte rmediate.

I graduated last year with a bachelors degree in Russian from the University of Georgia. Since then, my language skills have waned as I no longer have weekly class interaction and reading assignments. In addition, many of my teachers were native Russian who specialized in the literature rather than the language, and, as a result, much grammer was never explained. I am probably only at an intermediate level at this point, but with some practice, I think I could quickly improve.
I want to study Russian because I love the language. I love the language's personality, the way it sounds and its idiosyncracie s. I hope to go to grad school within the next year or two to get my masters in slavic and east european studies, and I do not want to lose my language abilities in the meantime. Also, my fiance and his parents speak Russian, so improving my language skills would be an added plus for me in communicating with his family.
I am willing to spend several hours a week continuing in my Russian, and I am looking for a teacher who will provide me with lots of grammer instruction and conversationa l practice, as well as help in my intonation. A flexible schedule is also a plus as I work full time.
