I have spent about six months in Russia for the last several years doing charity work and so I understand some Russian, speak less Russian, but need to improve my fluency and have someone who can take the grammer slowly because I am a senior citizen and find grammar very challenging.
I have a Basic Russian course but without a tutor I find there are things I do not understand and I need someone who can give me examples rather than just have me memorize lists which mean nothing to me!

I know only a few words or phrases in Russian that I learned from my travels, and using a CD based course. I also learned a few things from a friend who is from Ukraine.
I want to learn to speak Russian enough that I can understand the basics of what a person is saying, and I can communicate on a basic level. I travel to Eastern Europe for business about 2 times per year. I travel originally for business, but I have found I really like the region, culture, and I am considering buying a flat somewhere and spending 3 or 4 months a year there.
I can dedicate 10 hours per week to my studies. I am very serious about learing the language much better so I do not need to rely on other friends to help me while I am traveling.
I am looking for a teacher that is patient for a person like myself who does not have a flair for a foreign language. But I have been told I have a good accent!

I am at the beginner level when it comes to the Russian language. I know a few useful phrases but I'd like to get more fluent in conversation. I also learned the Russian alphabet, but again, my level in reading Russian is beginner level.
I visited Russia recently and plan to go back later this year. I would like to be able to converse a bit more in Russian on my next trip.
I am pretty busy, so I can only meet for personal tutoring perhaps 1 or 2 hours each week. Of course, I can find some time during the week to study on my own as well (i.e., homework).
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is the he/she provides a structured curriculum, is patient, and is friendly.
