I am contacting you on behalf of my husband. I am french canadian and I am looking for a qualified tutor for my husband to learn French. He has basics skills in French with some vocabulary. He took lessons with Alliance Francaise in a group environment and didn't learn as much as he wanted. It's important that the French he leans be Canadian French and not European French.

I am a beginner/inte rmediate in French, and I've taken French courses at school for a few years already. Personally, I would like to learn/continu e learning French because I want to be able to go to France either as an exchange student or as a tourist. I believe French will take a role in my future plans/career as well, and it is a language I enjoy speaking thoroughly as well.
The areas that I believe I will need more work on is my conversation, listening and sight reading skills. I would prefer my lessons to be around an one hour or one and a half hours a week. I'm pretty flexible with my time, and I'm looking for a very cheerful, outgoing teacher who can furthur improve my French-speaki ng skills as well as my writing, and can teach me French through many different sources rather than from just a French textbook.

I am currently at a beginner level, with a small but firm grasp on the very basics.
I want to learn as I am doing a lot of travelling and am involved with a french speaking person.
I need to work up my confidence at trying to speak and pronunciation , so I can at least get to a basic level of conversation with people.
I would like to dedicate 2-3 days a week for a couple of hours.
I am looking for someone with a flexible schedule as I have work requirements and would need to have tutoring on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I also need to start asap. I am also wanting someone who will be able to help me with my specific needs for learning.
