Hello, I am a beginning level student wishing to learn Korean to benfit my career. I work for a Korean company and therefore interact with many Koreans. Learning Korean will allow me to overcome some of the communication barriers which often exist. I will still be working full time and I often travel so my studies will need to flexible enough to work around some of this. I need improvment in all areas of the language, but the verbal conversation skills will have the most immediate impact on my job. I am looking for an instructor who preferably is Korean or speaks the language natively, but this is not an absolute requirement. I will also be submitting the cost of this class for reimbursment from my employer, and therefor will need to gain approval of any associated fees and costs before agreeing to begin. My proficiency level is beginner, if you could even call it that.
The reason I wish to learn Korean, is I plan to travel to South Korea to teach English.
T he areas that I feel need improvement would be everything! Although, the most important to me would just be conversationa l Korean, and as much as the basics for maneuvering around in country.
I have enough free time to dedicate up to 4 hours in a weekday evening and usually most of the day(s) on weekends.
I do not wish to, or attempt to learn a romanized teaching form, I would prefer one on one skills.

Reason for learning: I was born in Korea and adopted when I was 5. Soon after, I lost the laguage, and now would like learn it once again both conversation and grammar.
T ime dedication: I am a working professional so if it is 'in person', my availabilty would be after 5:00pm central-easte rn-time.
Qu alities looking for in teacher: I understand that Korean is a very difficult language, and being that I am 28, I further understand that learning any language the older one gets raises the difficulty. So I would be looking for a teacher who is patient and has some previous experience in teaching.
