We are learning Japanese and are at the beginners level. We are learning this language because it is part of our heritage and it will be beneficial for future career advancement. We need to improve in all aspects of the language, mainly comprehension , grammar, conversation, vocabulary. We are willing to dedicate several hours a week to learning, however, it depends on cost. We are in search of a competent, well educated, patient instructor who can answer all questions regarding the language. We also require that the instructor be personable and not so 'dry' in his teachings.

My level of proficiency level in Japanese is beginner. I would like to go to school in Japan, so I'd like to know how to at least say what I need. I would also like to know how to understand basic instructions, like one's teachers would give you. I would like to spend about ten hours a week on the lessons.

My name is Samuel Taylor. I am a 13-year-old and I am seeking a Japanese language teacher. I am a beginner and have VERY basic Japanese skills. I have been interested in Japan since I was very young and want to eventually live there. I want to learn the language so I can converse with people in Japan and because I am extremely interested in the culture.
I would like lessons in person, preferably on weekends but am flexible. The ideal times for me would be Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights or Saturday afternoon. I am flexible on the duration of lesson, but would like to dedicate about 2-3 hours a week.
I am looking for a teacher who is experienced, professional, is skilled in teaching beginners, and has the language perfected down to the finest details. I would also like someone who is kind, patient, is easy to talk to, and will give me confidence. I want to learn conversationa l speaking so I can apply it to the real world. I would like lessons not focussed on learning it fast, but to make sure I fully understand it. I am very serious about learning Japanese, and in turn would like a qualified teacher who is equally as committed.
