Hi -
I have been in the process of learning Spanish for nearly ten years off and on. I have studied it at my university and have lived in Spanish speaking countries (Spain and Mexico). I teach English as a Second Language in Dallas. I would like to teach English abroad in a Spanish speaking country for a year or two. My main difficulty with the language is speaking conversationa lly with fluency. For this I could use help and practice. If this is an area you specialize in - please contact me.

I am interested in learning Farsi and Arabic to further my professional goals. I have not yet begun to study either language, so I would be at the basic/beginni ng level once I do start. I would like to learn conversationa l, grammar, and to read and write, so that I might translate written and spoken Farsi and Arabic.
I currently speak, English, Spanish and Portuguese all fluently.
I would like to spend 6-8 hours a week on instruction and 4 hours of practice/stud y/practical use.
I would like my teacher to be accessible, friendly, personable, excellent style of teaching so that I learn an clear, accurate, practical/fun ctional/conver sational use of the language. Also, I would like them to speak clear/accurat e English and be willing to have some of my lesson time be in restaurants/e mbassy and other practical settings.

There is a group of 7 people including my self that would like to learn Italian. We needed for work. We all work on a tour operator company here in Honolulu and we are in the need to learn the langauge. We are all beginers and we will like to have once a week a 1 hour and 1/2 privet class at our office or somewhere else.

Proficiency level: Upper Intermediate
Why learn Japanese: It is really difficult and I am addicted to getting better at it. I am also interested in second language acquisition for myself and teaching others ESL.
Need improvement: Conversation
Time wanting to invest: I would like to meet with my tutor twice a week.
