I am learning Czech because I would like to do Ph.D research concerning the Czech Republic. I am a beginner and need to be taught from the very start. I have 2 months from May-June to take an intensive course and will then continue studying on the side till I know the language. I have basic mandarin conversationa l skills. Ive taken 1 year of Chinese classes. I took 6 months at my university in the U.S. and 6 months at Nankai University in Tianjin, China. I also spent another 3 months working in Beijing. This was for a Chinese company but the primary language I spoke while working was english, so I learned little to no Chinese at the time. I plan on doing business in China in the future and want to improve my Chinese conversation skills, specifically business Chinese language. I would like to have one on one classes about 2-3 times a week for 2-3 hours, but I am really flexible with this.
