I am half Puerto Rican and have lost my spanish speaking skills and would like to regain them. I would consider myself intermediate and need improvement in conversation and vocabulary. I would like private lessons twice a week. I am looking for a teacher who I will feel comfortable conversing with and not embarrassed to make mistakes with. I am in my AP Spanish Language 4 class. I would consider myself and intermediate becaue i know the basics of Spanish. WHY: I would like to learn Amharic and Dutch as a tool to change careers. I am interested in photojournali sm and import/export . I feel that learning these languages,con versationally at least, would further those goals.
PRO FICIENCY LEVEL: Beginner in Amharic. Have had some exposure to Dutch (Nederlands) as I lived in Amsterdam for two years.

I would like to learn ASL in order to converse more easily with friends I have who are deaf. I am a beginner, though as a child I was slightly more proficient and I am hoping it comes back to me quickly. One lesson per week is ideal, though my schedule is somewhat moveable for more or fewer classes weekly.
