beginner, just want to learn it because there are so many spanish speaking people in texas. I became fluent in vietnamese while over there many years ago. I learned German in the 70s when i lived in NYC. At one point in the early 70s, I could speak enough spanish to get by in mexico, but i have lost it all over the years. My days off work are tues, wed and thurs. I work full time, probably couldn't put more than 4-5 hours a week into it. I would seriously like to speak spanish fluently though. Not sure if I can afford it, but would like more information as to the costs.

I have been studying Spanish for about five years. I find that I can read pretty well, but I need practice listening and speaking. I wish to learn Spanish because I plan to travel extensively in Latin America.
I 'd like to meet with a tutor or in a small class about 2-3 hours a week. I want a teacher who is patient and familar with language teaching for adult learners.

I am seeking Spanish instruction for both personal and business use. Being of Cuban descent, my father is Cuban, and being raised in Florida one would assume that I should speak Spanish. Speaking English was stressed and it wasn't perceived as a good thing to speak Spanish in my melting pot of a neighborhood. I posse a good ear for Spanish, and am very eager which would make me a quick learner.
I look forward to getting started ASAP.

I'm a true beginner. I'm entering in to new home sales and would like to learn a working knowledge of the language as it would used in the actual sale of a home. I'm not so much needing to have a perfect understanding of grammar as I'm wanting to be able to have a conversation about buying a new home.
