I have taken 3 years of french in high school, so I am familiar with the language, but cannot truly speak it. I am learning it for personal reasons. I would like to dedicate as much time as possible to this, maybe meet several times a week perhaps, or see how each session is handled. I studied some french in college but was not able to devote enough time to be fluent. I want to learn french because Because I did enjoy the french I did study, and when I go back to France I would like to communicate on my own. I remember some but I would consider myself elementary, but I still remember some. I am able to devote a few hours a week in studying and practicing my french.
The qualities I am looking for in my teacher is enthusiasm and patience. Now in my lessons I would be looking for good productivity with meaningful assignments and practice.
