I would be a true beginner but want to learn the Slovak language. My wife was born and raised in Slovakia and I want to surprise her and learn the language. I would like to dedicate once or twice per week for lessons. I need a teacher that can give very specific structure to learn the language i.e. provide me the concepts and homework assignments. I am the type of person that needs very specific structure and tasks to learn. I am an executive at a Fortune 500 company and have an extremely busy schedule so I need very specific lessions and study assignments.

I'm a beginner and have been to germany a couple of times, my last stay was 6 months. I know many german words and can construct some sentences, I know most key words such as und, bitte, danke, ja, nein.. and so on. The part I find hard about learning german is the grammar and everything else seems less difficult. I hope to study german on the weekend but not sure for how many hours, depends on the cost of the lessons. I'm looking for a teacher that can explain the german grammar in a not so confusing way.
