I don't speak any french at all but would like to learn I want to go to paris next year and canada at the end of this year and i would like to be able to read and speak the language before i go . I would be interested in a package course that is several weeks long either in a group or privately.

I am a 55 year old woman who has lived in The Netherlands and Belgium for over 20 years. I speak Dutch fluently and have a Dutch passport. I have studied the French language in school in Belgium and have on occasion needed to use it.
I am interested in being comfortable with speaking French. I get rather nervous when I try. My largest problem is understanding what is being said. My husband travels a lot and I have the time to put into studies. I would say that I am still at beginners stage. I would a structured class twice a week.

Had five years French in school, 22 years ago. Had an additional year French 1999/2000. Would like to improve my level to pass NATO SLP 2222 at least, SLP 3332 at best. In other words, writing, conversation and reading should not cause any problems.
