Hello!
I am very much a beginner in French but am serious about learning with hopes of becoming fluent someday. My boyfriend is French and I would like to start by learning enough to speak more easily with family and friends- both polite and informal daily conversation. I hope to be at least an intermediate level within a year or more, with potential for further study considering career mobility etc beyond that.
So far I had only taken 3 lessons before a trip to France in September, but am now hoping to get back into learning on a consistent basis. For the the time being I am probably looking to start with one 60-90 minute lesson a week. I would prefer some homework and occasional exams. I'm quite relaxed and flexible with times but I'd aim for weekday evenings in whatever form that would suit us both.
