Hi, my name is Chris Cortada. I'm a first generation American of Cuban decent living in Orlando, FL and am very interested in learning the spanish language. I have a basic knowledge of the language, but I would like to learn spanish fluently. My family is from Camaguey, Cuba, and I have a lot of family across the nation who I would really like to communicate with, but there is that language barrier, because most of them only speak spanish. I would like to learn spanish not only to have a better relatioship and communication with some of my family and friends, but also with my heritage, as well as be able to add the wonderful knowledge to my educational background. My proficiency level is beginner, however I have taken Spanish courses throughout High School. I would like to learn Spanish to enrich my life and challenge myself. The areas of grammar and conversation are my focus. I would be able to dedicate 3 to 4 hours a week to the lesson.
