My husband is German and I would like to learn basic German conversation to communicate with his mother. I am a beginner at the German language; I took one class at NYU last winter and 10 private lessons in 2008. I would like the focus of the lesson to be on conversation.
I am prepared to take one lesson per week (60-90 minutes) and I would like a teacher who is flexible in case I can not meet for a week or two. The price per lesson needs to be reasonable.

My name is Idella and I am 22 years of age.
I've been interested in learning the Japanese language for a long time in order to be about to communicate effectively and naturally with other Japanese speakers. I consider myself a beginner though I know some basics. I mostly need help with grammar, conversation, and increasing my vocabulary. I want to study as much as possible and I would like a teacher that is patient and corrects any mistakes that I make no matter how small. Also one that could perhaps teach me more about Japanese culture in the process of learning the language.
