I am a very basic beginner. I do know a few words, but have a real hard time trying to pick up what should be my native tongue.
I am looking for an instructor who will provide private lessons to me providing an accelerated program, as I KNOW I will lose patience and motivation in a drawn out conventional course.
I want to pick up conversationa l spanish for both the Latin Americas as well as traveling to Spain.
I do realize that there are many dialects and that I would not be proficient in all - but would appreciate basic conversationa l spanish. I want to dedicate 1-2 hours a week to private sessions time for my own lession time outside of this classroom.

I have taken some Spanish lessons at home using computer based training course - I have found this very useful, and know quite a few words - however, I have trouble understanding whole sentences and gettign to grips with the male/female and tenses.
I am looking to improve my listening, understanding and verbal skills. I am not concerned about being able to read/write in Spanish too much.
I am marrying my Fiancee this year, who is origianlly from Colombia. She has perfect English, but I want to learn Spanish for when I visit her family etc.
Intia lly I'm looking for one hour per week study, with homework. I want it to be fun and easy to learn where possible.
