I am 23-year old PhD-student at DTU (Chemical Engineering Department) from Russia. I have been to Denmark for three weeks. There are two main reasons why I want to study English. Firstly, I am going to become a scientist. English is known to be an international scientific language. I would like to be able to communicate with my colleagues and so on. That is why I want to know it very well. The second reason is quite simple – I like English! I find it beautiful and I like how it sounds.
My level of proficiency is upper-interme diate, IELTS overall band score is 6.5.
I am not a confident speaker! I have several gaps in English grammar (articles, prepositions, phrasal verbs, etc.). I would like to improve my pronunciation . On the whole, I want to rise my level of proficiency up to advanced level.
I am ready to work hard! I would like my courses were intensive. This means that I would have three lessons per week (2 hours each), the course duration will depend on my progress (1 or 2 month).
The teacher must be a native speaker (British English preferably) and have some experience in teaching.
P.S. I think you would like to work with me. I can start from the middle of September.
